Good and bad energy constantly changes and impacts the feng shui of your environment. Here are a few tips to cure 6 unlucky afflictions of 2015. Remember, these cures must be implemented by February 4th, 2015 before the Chinese New Year begins. So, lets get started!

Understand the 2015 Unlucky Stars and Implement Cures

Below is a summary of the unlucky flying stars of 2015 and suggested cures/remedies for them. These cures overrule your general cures per the classical feng shui bagua. As a general rule of thumb, always avoid remodeling, renovating, chopping, digging, banging and making noises in areas where these unlucky stars reside. Note the goal is to subdue and weaken the negative chi of the element associated with the flying star utilizing the principles of the 5 elements of feng shui.

Understand the 2015 Annual Afflictions and Implement Cures

In addition to the Unlucky Stars, there are Annual Afflictions to be mindful of. Below is a summary of the 2015 afflictions and suggested cures/remedies. These cures overrule your general cures per the bagua. As always, avoid remodeling, renovating, chopping, digging, banging and making noises in areas where these afflictions reside.

Remember to Take Accurate Measurements

To effectively implement feng shui cures for your space, you must have accurate measurements of your floor plan and a bagua mapping of your space. If you don’t know the bagua of your floor plan, see my prior post on steps to determine the bagua of your environment.

Hi there Patty,
I followed a link from an About message board based on the five yellow star. I also have my entryway facing West (the helpful people/travel area following the Western bagua). I’m wondering do all of these apply regardless of which bagua is being used and where would I put the recommended cures (windchime, wu lou, and/or 5 element pagoda)?
Thanks for your help I’m really new to following feng shui!
Hi May,
This applies to the flying stars school of feng shui (part of the classical school of feng shui). The western school of feng shui doesn’t apply the principle of time. You can place them on a side/decorative table next to your entryway. Right now it may be hard to place a wind chime as you would need to hook it up and it’s not ideal to bang or drill in that area right now. Or you can consider placing a command hook to place the wind chime (this is the type of hook that has double sided tape).
We have just moved into our office and the facing is S2 137deg. It is a Period 7 office – flying stars at front door are 7 5 with 2 energy for the year. I am concerned about the 5 / 2 energies at the front door and would like some advice on how to reduce the energy and what cures should I use.
Thank you
regards
Teresa
